Ghazals reflect romance and love and ghazal singing adorned with symphonic music on stage creates a perfect evening of ethereal and sublime music. The Ghazal Symphony concert is an expression of the above. The concert promises to evoke nostalgia as the most celebrated young Ghazal exponent Anurag Sharma and the popular voice from Bengal Anwesshaa go down memory lane and sing the classics immortalized by Mehdi Hassan, Madan Mohan, Lata Mangeshkar, Ghulam Ali and other Legends. This part of the concert is for an hour followed by an interval of 20 min. The second half of 2 hours will see Padmashri Pankaj Udhas rendering the chart buster ghazals from his repertoire along with a symphony orchestra arranged and conducted by noted violinist Deepak Pandit. The second day starts with Jayanti Kumaresh on Veena and Kumaresh on Violin playing those unique notes for us in the morning. This will be followed by the melodious voices of Shubha Mudgal and Bombay Jayashree. Croon to the euphony of Vishwa Mohan Bhatt on Mohan Veena playing jugalbandi with Shashank Subramanyam on flute followed by L.S Subramaniyam on Violin and Oystein Baadsvik playing his Tuba to end the day on a high.
