Never a Dull Moment! – Live from Coast to Coast 1966-1967 is a previously unreleased collection of live recordings of unsung piano and vocal icon Les McCann captured in 1966 at the Penthouse jazz club in Seattle with Stan Gilbert, Paul Humphrey and Tony Bazley. Also featured, are recordings by Resonance founder and copresident George Klabin from the Village Vanguard on July 16, 1967 with Leroy Vinnegar and Frank Severino.
This is an official release in cooperation with Les McCann. The Village Vanguard recording was previously released on CD in 1998 and has never been available on vinyl until now. This 3 LP set is pressed on 180g vinyl and includes an extensive booklet with rare photos, liner notes by music journalist A. Scott Galloway and author Pat Thomas, plus quotes from Roberta Flack, Monty Alexander, Roger Kellaway, Joe Alterman, Emmet Cohen and more. Remastered from the original tape reels by the legendary Bernie Grundman.
