The book is a collection of 19 folk tales of Rajasthan and include stories like 'The Prince wins a mate,' 'The vampire queen' and 'The shrew and the ghost'. The stories in this book are the ones which all Indians are familiar with, stories of good winning over evil, of kings and queens, princes and princesses, of animals and birds who can talk and predict.
