John Griffith `Jack’ London (12 January 1876 -22 November 1916) was an American author, journalist and social activist. A pioneer of magazine fiction, he was one of the most popular writers of his time, who attained huge fame from his fiction. Some of his notable works include The Call of the Wild and White Fang, both set in the Klondike Gold Rush. However, in the words of writer and historian Dale I.
