Pandit Dinkar Kaikini - A multi faced musician, Panditji Had avery early training from Pandit Karekatte Nagesh Rao of the Paliala Gharana, followed by Pandit Omkarnath Thakur of Gwalior Gharana. However underthetutelage of Padmabhushan Acharya S. N.Ratanjankar that his creativity found true expression. The gayaki of Ustd Faiyaz Khan and Pandit Rajabhaiya Poonchwale has left a deep and lasting impression on his singing.Though Panditji's music primarily reflects the Agra and Gwalior Gayakis, his respect and regards for other Gayakisis evident in his singing through the highly aestetic blendof the salient qualities of different styles. Panditji displays mastery over varied traditional forms including Dhrupad, Khayal, Thumri, Dadra, Tappa, Tarana and Bhajan. Panditji's composing ability par excellence is evidence thriugh his 2 old compositions under the pen name ' Dinarang" and also his own ragas like Gunaranjani, Gagan Vihang, Khemdhwani, Bayati and others.
