Shri Babulal Gandharva is a remarkable instrumentalist of the contemporary generation. Babul Started learning vocal and Sarangi at the early age from his father Pandit Kashiram Gandharva. Learnt Violin from Pandit S.G. Ranade at Dewas. Having mastered in both Violin and Sarangi , Babul Conceived new instrument that would exploit the best of Sarangi and also the structure of violin. The technique of then rendered the vibration that Babul Anticipated. He has innovated the instrument called ' Belabahar'
