Mahatma Gandhi met Dr Mehta in the 1930s and was very much impressed by the nature cure therapy propagated by him. Gandhiji and his family members stayed at the Nature cure clinic and Pune and even sent some patients there. This book records Gandhiji's fasts, Kasturba's death and several historical happenings in India during the pre independence times.
